I LOVE crafting!!
I am a Multi Media Artist.
I LOVE to make things out of nothing. I LOVE working with paper, paint, clay, flowers, beads, jewelry, and metal. There have been many art forms to bring out my inner creativity. I love the way the colors will just mix and make other colors.
I have enjoyed being in business for myself and offering a wonderful product to my customers!!!
Hello everyone, I wanted to share with you that I am sending my application for the DT Call for Imaginarium Designs. They are asking for 10 of my favorite projects that include chipboard in the project. Here is the 10: 1.
Already, where has 1/2 of the month gone!!!! Lots of things are happening. My Grand Daughter Miss Gweney is turning 9 years old on Sunday the 19th. That is the same day, 9 years ago my dear Mother passed and went home to be with our loving Father... It has been a sad and a happy day for me every year!!! I LOVE and miss you Mom!! As the days are going by, I had this feeling that I wasn't done with the holidays. I still had a bunch of snow flakes and other ornaments still hanging around my art table. I wanted to make them up, but felt I needed to use other colors. Snow flakes still go with the winter months, so I decided to make them with some of my favorite colors. I also pulled down some organza and started to make some flowers. My art room is so messy right now. I have been ordering a lot of new laces and new jewelry pieces. I am also in the middle of redesigning my studio. Lots of fun stuff going on now. I was reading on Facebook, that a blog, one of my friends Deb designs for, was having a Flower challenge. I decided, I really wanted to enter my snow flakes and new flowers. So I did, do just that today.
I wanted to share some new projects that I was working on and now completed.. I fell in LOVE with a clutch my Sister DT, Itza Gomez had made. She was a sweetheart and sent me the supplies to make a clutch. Thank you Itza!!! Itza Gomez Picture # 1 shows the design on the outside of the fabric. Next is the inside. The next is the completed clutch, front back and inside. I really enjoyed making this clutch. Look for more to be completed. This clutch is on Ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/271314000602?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 I hope you enjoy looking at my projects!!
The next project is for a dear friend on Facebook!!This friend also is the Mother of my newly married Son, James's Bride, Mikhaela.
I had to keep it under wraps and not install the picture till I was closer to completing it for fear she would see it. I have finished it as of last night. The first picture is with the modling paste put on over a piece of lace. That is how I achieved this wonderful texture. The next picture, all of the flowers, beads and leave were put in place. The back ground and all of the bits were painted cream. The next picture I had to decide where to put the picture down and I placed all of the pearls. The last step was very SCARY. I had to glue the picture down and then add a glue like substance all over the picture. Then I added the last piece of beautiful lace from Angela's store. I added a few more pearls on that lace. I used a lot of products from Angela's store https://www.facebook.com/AHoltDesigns/app_189977524185
I have really enjoyed making the layout. I will be making more, so look out for them in the near future!!!!

Yesterday I featured a Graphics 45 project. Today I want to introduce you to Angela Holt's Shabby Chic Kits. Along with her regular store items, Angela has a subscription service where you can buy a kit jam packed with items to make shabby chic projects. It usually contains lace, multiple flowers, ribbon, bling and lots of filler goodies. It's a fantastic bargain and you can check out more about it by clicking on the address below.
This month there were some fabulous flowers, fancy trims, beads, ribbons, bling, and lovely laces. I couldn't wait to get started with them! I made two projects so far which I will share with you next but I have SO MUCH LEFT!!! I think I can do at least 4 more projects, probably more. I'm not kidding when I say it's a great deal!
I love how my 2 cards turned out!!
